According to the news in The Street, e-commerce giant eBay is taking action to accept payments with cryptocurrencies. Making a statement on the subject, eBay CEO Jamie Iannone stated that they aim to attract younger customers to the platform in the new period. Based on the statement, eBay may receive payments in crypto in the future. Also, if eBay agrees to receive payments in cryptocurrency, it will be the first major e-commerce platform to implement this. eBay CEO Jamie Iannone mentioned in an interview that the company will make an announcement on March 10. In the interview in question, "Will eBay add cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum to its means of payment?" Jamie Iannone replied: “We do not currently accept crypto. However, on March 10 we will dig deeper into all of these things, payments, ads and focus categories.”
