Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey October 2
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey October 2 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 829 thousand 614 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 821 thousand 730 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 38 thousand 765 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 462 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 829 thousand 614 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 821 thousand 730 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 34.77 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 20.79 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 17.61 percent.
Besides, 805 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 8,690 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
