Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 10 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 907 thousand 36 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 900 thousand 880 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred. According to data released by Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 43 thousand 697 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 556 megawatt-hour at 5 am. While 907 thousand 36 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 900 thousand 880 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded. Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 17.35 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15.71 percent and wind power plants with 14.97 percent. While 1.140 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 6,637 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
