Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 11 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 863 thousand 153 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 854 thousand 564 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred. According to data released by Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 720 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 795 megawatt-hour at 7 am. While 863 thousand 153 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 854 thousand 564 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded. Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 22 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14 percent and wind power plants with 13.6 percent. While 2.954 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 11,460 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
