Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 17 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 879 thousand 722 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 870 thousand 977 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 40 thousand 551 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 778 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 879 thousand 722 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 870 thousand 977 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 25.28 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 22.03 percent and wind power plants with 14.62 percent.
While 10.103 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 1,443 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
