Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 24
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 24 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 797 thousand 428 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 793 thousand 649 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 35 thousand 614 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 27 thousand 451 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 793 thousand 428 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 793 thousand 649 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 24 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23,3 percent and wind power plants with 14.2 percent.
While 7,072 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 10,849 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
