Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 25 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 789 thousand 298 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 785 thousand 551 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 35 thousand 540 megawatt-hour at 3 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 26 thousand 354 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 789 thousand 298 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 785 thousand 551 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 22.7 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 20,3 percent and wind power plants with 13.8 percent.
While 5,276 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 8,922 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
