Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on April 4 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 833 thousand 675 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 822 thousand 516 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 617 megawatt-hour at 9 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 731 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 833 thousand 675 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 822 thousand 516 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 19.6 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 16.5 percent and wind power plants with 16.2 percent.
Besides, 353 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,506 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
