Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on December 26 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 877 thousand 6 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 869 thousand 800 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 41 thousand 594 megawatt-hour at 6 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 216 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 877 thousand 6 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 869 thousand 800 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 32.76 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 19.87 percent and lignite coal plants with 13.85 percent.
Besides, 2.149 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 9,978 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
