Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 27 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 899 thousand 562 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 885 thousand 783 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 42 thousand 829 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 600 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 899 thousand 562 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 885 thousand 783 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 30 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 20.1 percent and wind power plants with 14.3 percent.
Besides, 703 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 14,385 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
