Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 28
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 28 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 826 thousand 609 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 818 thousand 120 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 641 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 860 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 826 thousand 609 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 818 thousand 120 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.8 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 20.6 percent and wind power plants with 17.2 percent.
Besides, 2,615 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 11,073 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
