Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 6 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 865 thousand 334 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 858 thousand 745 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.

According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 41 thousand 328 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 546 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 865 thousand 334 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 858 thousand 745 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 33 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.6 percent and wind power plants with 14 percent.
Besides, 2,597 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 9,035 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
