Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on February 7 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 805 thousand 934 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 799 thousand 56 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 36 thousand 642 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 324 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 805 thousand 934 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 799 thousand 56 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 28.9 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 25.2 percent and wind power plants with 12.6 percent.
Besides, 865 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 7,644 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
