Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on January 10
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on January 10 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 833 thousand 197 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 832 thousand 921 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 38 thousand 730 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 677 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 833 thousand 197 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 832 thousand 921 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 26.3 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.6 percent and wind power plants with 16 percent.
Besides, 2.673 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 2,904 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
