Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on June 20
Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on June 20 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 861 thousand 205 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 855 thousand 965 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 40 thousand megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 193 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 861 thousand 205 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 855 thousand 965 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 38.1 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15.9 percent and wind power plants with 13.5 percent.
While 7,639 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 13,846 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
