Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on June 6 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 827 thousand 328 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 825 thousand 796 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 270 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 265 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 827 thousand 328 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 825 thousand 796 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 31.6 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14.9 percent and wind power plants with 13.7 percent.
While 9,072 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 12,667 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
