Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on March 27 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 947 thousand 314 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 937 thousand 135 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 45 thousand 921 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 126 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 947 thousand 314 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 937 thousand 135 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 30 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 20 percent and wind power plants with 14 percent.
Besides, 2,121 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,115 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
