Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on March 28 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 885 thousand 352 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 875 thousand 311 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 41 thousand 648 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 24 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 885 thousand 352 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 875 thousand 311 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 26.1 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 20.2 percent and wind power plants with 15 percent.
Besides, 2,584 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,516 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
