Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on March 6 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 893 thousand 394 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 892 thousand 797 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 43 thousand 36 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 595 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 893 thousand 394 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 892 thousand 797 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 28.7 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 21 percent and wind power plants with 13 percent.
Besides, 8,127 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 8,660 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
