Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on March 7 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 864 thousand 686 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 857 thousand 862 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 40 thousand 34 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 356 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 864 thousand 686 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 857 thousand 862 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 27.2 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 21.1 percent and wind power plants with 13.2 percent.
Besides, 3,838 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,624 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
