Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 1 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 847 thousand 957 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 841 thousand 887 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 68 megawatt-hour at 3 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 557 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 847 thousand 957 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 841 thousand 887 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 26.7 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 27,4 percent and wind power plants with 14 percent.
While 3,417 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 9,370 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
