Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 23 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 814 thousand 86 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 811 thousand 831 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 782 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 71 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 814 thousand 86 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 811 thousand 831 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 30.8 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14 percent and wind power plants with 13.5 percent.
While 9,612 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 11,759 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
