Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 30 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 826 thousand 929 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 823 thousand 193 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 38 thousand 529 megawatt-hour at 12 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 283 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 826 thousand 929 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 823 thousand 193 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.9 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 14.7 percent and wind power plants with 14.2 percent.
While 9,072 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 12,667 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
