Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on May 9 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 829 thousand 598 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 824 thousand 541 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 402 megawatt-hour at 3 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 27 thousand 991 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 829 thousand 598 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 824 thousand 541 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas plants ranked first in production with a share of 27.3 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 15,8 percent and wind power plants with 13.4 percent.
While 9,590 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday, 14,595 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
