Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 15 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 819 thousand 273 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 806 thousand 684 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 38 thousand 792 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 737 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 819 thousand 273 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 806 thousand 684 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 37,10 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.84 percent and lignite coal plants with 13.81 percent.
Besides, 299 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 12,888 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
