Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 29 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 842 thousand 51 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 827 thousand 38 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 40 thousand 142 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 778 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 842 thousand 51 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 827 thousand 38 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 34,61 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 21.97 percent and lignite coal plants with 16.05 percent.
Besides, 405 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 15,419 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
