Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 3 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 778 thousand 761 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 773 thousand 261 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 38 thousand 404 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 25 thousand 99 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 778 thousand 761 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 773 thousand 261 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 33 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23 percent and lignite coal plants with 15.4 percent.
Besides, 2,485 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 7,984 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
