Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 7 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 837 thousand 900 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 827 thousand 503 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 598 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 172 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 837 thousand 900 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 827 thousand 503 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 27,07 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 23.09 percent and lignite coal plants with 17,98 percent.
Besides, 865 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 11,262 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
