Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on November 8 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 795 thousand 684 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 785 thousand 491 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 37 thousand 669 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 28 thousand 301 megawatt-hour at 4 am.
While 795 thousand 684 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 785 thousand 491 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 27,04 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 22.98 percent and lignite coal plants with 17 percent.
Besides, 698 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,891 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
