Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 21 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 642 thousand 738 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 639 thousand 793 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 31 thousand 543 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 23 thousand 236 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 642 thousand 738 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 639 thousand 793 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a 204,328 megawatt-hours, followed by imported coal power plants with 134,534 megawatt-hours and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 115.721 megawatt-hours.
Besides, 6,295 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 9,240 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
