Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 29 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 771 thousand 894 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 763 thousand 43 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 36 thousand 779 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 27 thousand 148 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 771 thousand 894 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 763 thousand 43 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 36.02 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 19.83 percent and lignite coal plants with 14.99 percent.
Besides, 487 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,339 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
