Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 31 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 767 thousand 365 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 759 thousand 764 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 36 thousand 607 megawatt-hour at 7 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 26 thousand 47 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 767 thousand 365 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 759 thousand 764 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 30.93 percent, followed by imported coal plants with 22.25 percent and lignite coal plants with 19.73 percent.
Besides, 2,513 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 10,204 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
