Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey on October 6 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 806 thousand 900 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 799 thousand 576 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
According to data released by
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis recorded as 39 thousand 86 megawatt-hour at 6 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 26 thousand 484 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 806 thousand 900 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 799 thousand 576 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 31.27 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 20.69 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 19.88 percent.
Besides, 4,166 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 11,490 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
