Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 10 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 925 thousand 732 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 921 thousand 802 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 42 thousand 915 megawatt-hour at 5 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 816 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 925 thousand 732 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 921 thousand 802 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 27.70 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 21.56 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 14.91 percent.
Besides, 572 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 4,501 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
