Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 11 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 919 thousand 960 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 914 thousand 968 megawatt-hour
electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 42 thousand 808 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 400 megawatt-hour at 6 am.
While 919 thousand 960 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 914 thousand 968 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 28.52 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 21.44 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 19.51 percent.
Besides, 432 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 5,424 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
