Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 12 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 920 thousand 909 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 916 thousand 577 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest
electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 42 thousand 785 megawatt-hour at 5 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 571 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 920 thousand 909 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 916 thousand 577 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.04 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 20.66 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 19.89 percent.
Besides, 190 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 4,521 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
