Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 14 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 778 thousand 437 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 778 thousand 770 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 37 thousand 542 megawatt-hour at 9 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 27 thousand 917 megawatt-hour at 8 am.
While 778 thousand 437 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 778 thousand 770 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 32.90 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 23.49 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 12.82 percent.
Besides, 3,794 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 3,396 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
