Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 15 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 894 thousand 732 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 887 thousand 745 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 42 thousand 512 megawatt-hour at 6 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 29 thousand 141 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 894 thousand 732 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 887 thousand 745 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 27.90 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 22.09 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 16.49 percent.
Besides, 248 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 7,235 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
