Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 17 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 909 thousand 175 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 902 thousand 280 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 42 thousand 468 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 256 megawatt-hour at 7 am.
While 909 thousand 175 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 902 thousand 280 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.57 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 21.57 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 19.31 percent.
Besides, 82 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 6,977 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
