Electricity Production and Consumption Data of Turkey September 25 has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 867 thousand 469 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 860 thousand 253 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred.
Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 40 thousand 849 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 30 thousand 223 megawatt-hour at 5 am.
While 867 thousand 469 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 860 thousand 253 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded.
Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 33.20 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 21.95 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 21.94 percent.
Besides, 245 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 8,461 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
