1300 Bitcoin Came Out of the Wallet Which Was Dormant For 8 Years
1300 Bitcoin came out of the wallet, which was dormant for 8 years. This amount equates to $75 million at current prices.
A new one has been added to
BTC transfers from dormant Bitcoin addresses, which have been frequently encountered recently. While the Bitcoin price was approaching $60 thousand, 1299 BTC was transferred from an address that started with 1Ee3r… at 01.57 TSI today. 1299 BTC is equivalent to about $75 million at current prices. These BTCs were sent to the address in question on October 5, 2013, and there was no Bitcoin exit from the wallet after that date. Also, at that time, the total value of BTCs was $ 166,000. The price is up 46540% since then.
The wallet owner sent 67 of 1299 BTC to one wallet and 1232 to another wallet. Bitcoins are kept in the wallets to which they are transferred as of 02.12 TSI.
Recently, there was an outflow of 2207 BTC from an 8-year-old wallet. In this wallet, BTCs were sent on October 8, 2013, and in the wallet where today's movement took place, this date was October 5, 2013. This raised suspicions that the wallets could be related to each other.
Such
Bitcoin movements are not new and can be seen from time to time, but they can still create a short-term panic in the market in general.
