According to data from Blockchain.com, 90 percent of the 21 million total supply of the leading cryptocurrency has been mined. As of this morning, 90 percent of the total supply has been mined. This means that the 18.89 million supply of Bitcoin is in circulation.

It has been nearly 12 years since the first Bitcoin was issued on January 9, 2009. The remaining 2 million is expected to be mined by February 2140.
