A historic sale happened in CryptoPunks NFTs. A very rare NFT named “CryptoPunk 5822” has been sold.

Known as the first NFT collection on the Ethereum blockchain, a very rare NFT named “CryptoPunk 5822” from CryptoPunks was sold today for 8000 ETH. At current prices, this amount corresponds to $23.7 million. Also, this is the highest price ever paid for a CryptoPunks NFT. In June 2021, another NFT from the same collection was awarded $11.7 million at Sotheby's auction. The buyer of the NFT is the CEO of Chain.com, Deepak Thapliyal, who also has NFTs from many Bored Ape Yach Club collections.
