Abramovich is selling his real estate in London

British MP Chris Bryant said Roman Abramovich has put his London assets up for sale. "He is very afraid of being subject to sanctions, so tomorrow he will sell the house he lives in and another apartment," Labor Party MP Bryant said in his speech in parliament. While the UK has announced sanctions on more than 100 Russian institutions and individuals, Abramovich has managed to stay off of this list so far. The Russian billionaire, who owns the Chelsea football club as well as many real estate properties, has continued to come under increasing pressure from the country's politicians since the list was announced. Abramovich handed control of the club over to the charitable foundation's executives on Saturday, while officials are said to be on standby for a potential sale. In his speech, Bryant said that the Russian billionaire should not be allowed to own an English football club.

His fortune is $13.5 billion

With a net worth of $13.5 billion, according to the Bloomberg billionaire index, Abramovich owns several houses in London. The Times magazine said the property that Chris Bryant said was up for sale was believed to be the 15-room house in Kensington Palace Gardens, valued at £150m. The magazine claimed that the other flat was real estate on the Chelsea Waterfront, worth £22m in 2018. On Monday, Abramovich's spokesperson revealed that the famous billionaire is trying to mediate to end the war.
