Apple CEO Tim Cook Surprised Everyone With His Electric Car
Tim Cook, who took the CEO seat at Apple after Steve Jobs, is working on an electric car. It is stated that this concept, which is planned to be called Apple Car, has been shelved for now. The famous CEO, who attended a meeting in the state of Idaho, came to the meeting with the electric model of the Rivian brand. This situation created surprise among those who saw it.
Apple officials also attended a meeting organized by the investment company Allen & Co. The electric car preferred by Apple CEO Tim Cook fell like a bomb on the social media agenda.
It was recorded that Tim Cook attended the meeting with the Rivian R1T model. In the images, it is seen that the green vehicle in the front is the Rivian R1T and the rear is the sports off-road model R1S.
At the meeting organized by Allen & Co, Rivian's founder and CEO RJ Scaringe also took part. It was noted that Allen & Co's future investment targets were discussed at the meeting, which was attended by technology billionaires.
While Apple did not make a statement about this situation, it should be underlined that the vehicle was rented for the meeting.
The fact that Rivian's founder and CEO also attended the meeting may have brought possible collaborations to the agenda. It is predicted that Tim Cook talked to Rivian about the Apple Car.
While US-based Rivian is actually the biggest competitor of Elon Musk's electric car company Tesla, Rivian, in which Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has also invested, produces electric cargo trucks for Amazon.
