BIST 100 Closed The Week With A Record
BIST 100 index closed the week with a record. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul completed the day with a value gain of 2.06 percent, bringing both the daily and weekly closing records to 2,393.39 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 48.20 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 48.5 billion TL.
At the closing, the banking index gained 5.41 percent and the holding index gained 3.27 percent. Among the sector indices, banking was the most profitable and the most decline was recorded on tourism with 1.31 percent.
Continuing its upward trend for 6 consecutive weeks, BIST 100 index, led by banking stocks, completed the day with a value gain of 2.06 percent, bringing both the daily and weekly closing records to 2,393.39 points.
Analysts stated that the developments regarding the Russia-Ukraine war remained at the center of the agenda.
The interest rate decision to be announced by the
Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey at the Monetary Policy Committee meeting next week, industrial production, the balance of payments, as well as the European Central Bank's interest rate decision, inflation in the USA, industrial production, industrial production in the Eurozone, inflation in China will be monitored closely.
It was stated that the level of 2,400 stood out as resistance, and the level of 2,320 is in a position of support in possible declines for the BIST 100 index.
