BIST 100 Index Broke A Record at Closing Once Again
BIST 100 index broke a record at closing once again. BIST 100 index gained 0.52 percent in Borsa Istanbul and closed the day with 1,624.09 points.
At the end of the day, the total transaction volume in the
BIST 100 index, which increased by 8.45 points compared to the previous close, was recorded as 29.1 billion liras.
At the close, the banking index gained 1.27 percent, while the holding index gained 0.63 percent. Among the sector indices, construction was the highest earner with 2.75 percent, while the most decline was recorded on the metal and main industry with 1.62 percent.
The BIST 100 index, which fluctuated throughout the day, completed the day with a 0.52 percent gain, raising its closing record to 1,624.09 points.
Analysts said that the Producer Price Index announced in China to reach the highest level of the last 26 years with 13.5%, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) to the highest level of 13 months with 1.5%, and the annual CPI in the USA in October. Analysts said that despite the decrease in risk appetite in global stock markets with the effect of showing the highest increase in 31 years with 6.2 percent on a basis, the positive divergence in Borsa Istanbul attracted attention. It was stated that the the balance of payments in Turkey and growth in the UK.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.640 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.570 stands out as the support for the
BIST 100 index.
