BIST 100 index started Thursday with a fall. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,622.02 points with a 0.13 percent depreciation.
At the beginning of the day, the
BIST 100 index, which lost value by 2.07 points and 0.13 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 1,622.02 points.
While the banking index depreciated by 0.38 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.23 percent. Metal main industry and financial leasing and factoring were the highest earners among the sector indices with 0.35 percent, while the most decline was recorded on real estate investment trusts with 0.49 percent.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul broke the closing record by completing the day at 1,624.09 points with an increase of 0.52 percent.
Analysts stated that after the inflation data announced yesterday in the USA, which reached the highest level of the last 31 years, the interest rate hike would be earlier than expected and the uncertainty regarding the bond payments of the Chinese real estate giant Evergrande, which has a known debt of 300 billion dollars, followed a sales-heavy course in the
New York Stock Exchange.
Analysts said that the Chinese government's announcement that real estate companies have loosened refinancing restrictions supports Asian stock markets and that developments on the subject will continue to be at the center of the agenda.
It was stated that the balance of payments in the country, growth in the UK and industrial production data will be monitored closely.
In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1,640 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1,570 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
