BIST 100 Started Friday With A Rise

BIST 100 index started Friday with a rise. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day at 1,748.72 points, gaining 0.68 percent value.

At the end of the day, the BIST 100 index, which gained 11.84 points and 0.68 percent compared to the previous close, reached 1,748.72 points. While the banking index gained 0.58 percent at the opening, the holding index gained 1.19 percent. While all sector indices were on the rise, highest earnings were recorded on forest, paper and printing with 1.27 percent. Yesterday, the BIST 100 index increased by 1.75 percent in Borsa Istanbul, raising its closing record to 1,736.88 points. Analysts stated that the speeches of the members of the US Federal Reserve, described as a "hawkish stand", and the President of the European Central Bank, Christine Lagarde, will be in the focus of investors. In today's data calendar, it was noted that the Producer Price Index (PPI) in Germany and retail sales in the UK stood out. In technical terms, it was stated that the level of 1.780 is in a position of resistance and the level of 1.670 stands out as the support for the BIST 100 index.
