BIST 100 Started Thursday With A Decline

BIST 100 index started Thursday with a decline. BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul started the day with a decrease of 0.33 percent at 2,057.47 points.

At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index, which lost value by 6.74 points and 0.33 percent compared to the previous close, fell to 2,057.47 points. While the banking index depreciated by 0.02 percent at the opening, the holding index depreciated by 0.68 percent. Among the sector indices, tourism was the most profitable with 0.74 percent, while the most decline was recorded on holding and investment and informatics with 0.68 percent. BIST 100 index, which gained 0.89 percent yesterday and carried its upward trend to the eighth trading day in a row, closed the day at 2,064.21 points. Analysts said that after the inflation data announced yesterday in the USA, the risk appetite in the global equity markets remained weak. It was stated that today, the industrial production index and weekly money and bank statistics in the country and the Producer Price Index (PPI) data in the USA will be monitored closely. In technical terms, it was stated that the levels of 2.035 and 1.970 are in the support position, and the levels of 2.070 and 2090 are in the resistance position for the BIST 100 index.
